5 Fishing Games for Android and iPhone: Online and Offline Picks

Mobile games Fishing Android iPhone
For fishing without a connection, start with Fishing Hook: MOBIRIX explicitly advertises offline play. Choose Fishing Clash for competition with other anglers, or Fishing Planet for a more detailed simulator built around tackle and conditions. These five Android and iPhone games serve different preferences; there is no single winner for everyone.
Links and listing information checked on 21 October 2026. We compared official App Store and Google Play listings. This is an editorial comparison of developer information, not a claim of hands-on testing. A working store webpage does not guarantee installation in every country or on every device.

Which mobile fishing game should you choose?

Without reception: Fishing Hook, whose developer states that it works offline.  ·  Duels and clans: Fishing Clash.  ·  One-touch controls and tackle upgrades: Ace Fishing: Wild Catch.  ·  Detailed simulation and different fishing methods: Fishing Planet, online.  ·  Collecting catches and equipment: Let’s Fish, online.
All five iOS listings show a free download and in-app purchases. That does not promise access to every item for free or an ad-free experience. Android versions, purchase offers and regional availability may differ.

1. Fishing Clash — duels and lure-card progression

Ten Square Games builds Fishing Clash around competition with other anglers. You manage line tension while landing fish, then collect and upgrade lure cards between casts. Those cards are part of progression and unlocking fishing locations.
Choose it for duels, tournaments and clan activities. Treat it as an online pick, rather than a download for a trip without reception. It is free to download with in-app purchases; we have not independently measured how spending affects competitive balance.

2. Ace Fishing: Wild Catch — one-touch controls and tackle upgrades

Com2uS combines one-touch controls with equipment progression. Rod and line properties, lures and tournaments give you more to consider between catches. The developer also lists a Practice Room for learning the controls.
It suits players interested in improving tackle and comparing catches with other anglers. The iOS listing includes Russian among its languages and offers in-app purchases. Offline play was not confirmed in our source check, so do not rely on it for a trip without a connection.

3. Fishing Hook — the clearest offline option here

MOBIRIX’s Fishing Hook centres on reeling and a tension gauge. Its developer explicitly says that a network connection is not required. Of these five games, that makes it the clearest candidate when offline play is your priority.
Install it, complete the first launch and test airplane mode on your own device before travelling. This recommendation relies on the developer’s statement, not our own offline playtest. The iOS listing includes Russian; the download is free with in-app purchases.

4. Fishing Planet — weather, tackle and simulation

Fishing Planet is a first-person online fishing simulator. Its developer describes fish behaviour affected by time of day, weather and water conditions, plus float, spinning, bottom and saltwater trolling techniques. The appeal is choosing tackle and learning the conditions.
Consider it if you want to study the fishing setup, with multiplayer and competitions also available. It requires a connection and offers in-app purchases.

5. Let’s Fish — collecting catches and building a tackle set

Ten Square Games’ Let’s Fish focuses on selecting equipment for different fisheries and expanding your collection of catches. The developer lists rods, hooks, lines and bait, alongside duels, rankings and tournaments. It is an option for players who enjoy collection and equipment progression.
The developer explicitly requires an internet connection. A peaceful-looking fishing spot does not mean the game works offline. It is free to download with in-app purchases; check the listing for your own region and device before installing.

Frequently asked questions

Which mobile fishing game works offline?

Of these five, Fishing Hook explicitly advertises offline play. Let’s Fish requires a connection and Fishing Planet is an online simulator. Fishing Clash has online competition, while we did not confirm offline support for Ace Fishing. Test airplane mode after installation and the first launch before relying on any game while travelling.

Are these fishing games free?

All five checked iOS listings offer a free download with in-app purchases. Free installation does not mean every item or feature is free. Check the purchase information in your own store before downloading.

Do the games support Russian?

Russian appears in the checked iOS language lists for all five games. These are publisher-supplied iOS details, not a guarantee that the Android editions have identical localisation. A translated store description alone does not prove an in-game language is supported.

Why can’t I find a game in my App Store?

The links point to official US listings. Availability depends on your account region, age restrictions and device. Check your own store; we do not recommend bypassing restrictions or downloading from APK mirrors.
